Withcott Nursery Tour for Offset Plantings
👷♀️Our foresters Kristiina Marquardt and Chick Robb have completed a tour of Withcott Nursery near Toowoomba WITHCOTT GROUP PTY LTD, inspecting seedlings for an upcoming offset planting project.
🗺Verterra is managing 87 ha of native species reforestation this year as part of a major energy company’s goal to achieve net zero deforestation from 2022 onwards.
🌳The plantation will consist of over 40,000 trees, located in the Western Downs region.
🌱Our team were given a tour of the facilities and assessed germination success and growth of the native tree seedlings for quality assurance.
