Location: Brisbane (with fieldwork)
We are on the lookout for a motivated, practical, and environmentally-minded early-career engineer to be a Technical Assistant, supporting our team across spatial and environmental data analysis, scripting, automation and product development, remote sensing and UAV operations, monitoring, and system integration.
In this role you'll
Use GIA tools (e.g. ESRI, mobile data capture) and remote sensing (satellite, UAV, LiDAR) to support environmental assessments, modelling and reporting across vegetation, soil, water and carbon applications.
Develop and automate geospatial workflows using Python, ArcPy, or R.
Apply ML/AI techniques for image classification and predictive modelling.
Plan, conduct, and process UAV-based LiDAR and imagery surveys, analysing and integrating UAV data with external datasets for environmental monitoring.
Assist with the design, deployment, and maintenance of environmental monitoring systems.
Collaborate with senior environmental engineers, soil scientists, and spatial analysts to help develop new products and tools.
You may be a fit if you have
A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Spatial Analysis, or a related technical field
A practical, collaborative mindset and interest in fieldwork and nature-based solutions
Clear communication skills
Experience with ESRI GIS, remote sensing data, and data management tools
Skill in Python and/or R, with ArcPy experience
Familiarity with ML/AI techniques and environmental modelling (e.g. erosion, carbon, water quality)
Understanding of telemetry systems and sensor integration
UAV pilot accreditation and experience (a bonus, not essential)
Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to innovative, evidence-based solutions

We’re currently seeking a graduate or early-career accounting, business, or economics professional to join our Brisbane team in a dynamic support role across project controls, finance, quality assurance, and business administration.
What you'll do
As our new Graduate Accountant / Business Analyst, you’ll collaborate closely with our Chief Operating Officer and Project Controls Lead to:
Support the research, implementation, and development of opportunities in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD), and other natural capital-aligned policies and frameworks
Assist with the development of financial reporting, forecasting, and document control across the business
Help manage and improve the Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) for compliance and ISO accreditation
Coordinate proposals, bids, and internal/external reporting cycles
Contribute to business administration, MYOB ERP data management, and continuous improvement of our commercial processes
What you'll bring
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, or Economics
0-3 years’ experience in a similar or relevant role
Strong communication and organisational skills
Initiative, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
An interest in sustainability, environmental markets, or nature-based solutions (a bonus!)
