Project management

Verterra takes on-time, on-budget and on-quality delivery of all services very seriously.  To this end, we hold accreditation for Quality (AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008) Safety (ISO 45001:2018) and Environment (AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004).  Our Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) ensures consistent delivery of projects to agreed standards, and that quality, safety, environment and risk considerations are incorporated in all aspects of project delivery to clients.

Our Project Management Methodology presents an integrated view through the all project stages from initiation, planning, risk management, project execution, activity control, communications and document/data control, procurement management to project close out.  Each stage of the project methodology acts as a Quality Assurance gate to ensure the project is tracking as per the initial objectives within the agreed project charter.  

Our project management methodology is structured to foresee or predict as many of the dangers and problems as possible and to plan, organise, and control activities so that projects are completed successfully and all risks are appropriately managed.  This process starts before any resource is committed, and continues until all work is finished.
